after a month
of being defeated by the forty five degree angle, i have finally gotten a few right. i realigned the blade, and used a different wood. sooooooo, i now have three 30”x30” frames in my garage. still one more to build, and it’s on to the paint. so glad i didn’t give up.
i was
having a crap time the skatepark today. mad, cold, and miserable. then, a rollerblader busted some of his teeth out, and almost bit his lip off. after that, i finished two rolls off post-haste. ended up being pretty productive, which obviously made me feel awful. i was kind of like the paparazzi… not my best moment, but i felt like they were strong photos at least. i guess we’ll...
long day
put in work on a friend’s graduate portfolio tonight. We photographed it on friday, and i almost finished editing the over twenty images tonight. he paints and draws some really amazing things, and most graciously gave me one of the pieces that will be in his exit show. i was more than flattered. good luck to him on all his future endeavors.
i ended up getting home pretty late to find...
enough is enough
I usually try to keep my opinions to myself or the people i’m closest to. This just has to be said, though. i’ve been listening to hip hop quite a bit for the last year, and i feel like i’m qualified enough to make this statement.

one of my professors told me about a show she’d seen over the break. she’s a painter, and told me that it was the only photography show that she had ever been moved by. thought it was brilliant and worth sharing. give it a look. kertesz is pretty rad too.
